About Energy Machinery, Inc.
Established in 1971
More than three decades ago, Energy Machinery opened a local service company
for Chicago Pneumatic engines and compressors. We started in a cellar,
and because of our growth, We’ve made several moves to larger facilities.
In 1985 we purchased the 22,000 sq foot facility in Rockland, MA which
now servers as our main office, warehouse, and repair center.
Expansion into Complete
Rebuilding
To protect our customer base, we made a decision to expand our services
to include heavy refurbishing and complete rebuilding. This led to in-house
manufacturing of parts and components not easily available from the OEM
manufacturers.
Appointed by Gardner-Denver
Energy Machinery’s dedication brought us to the attention of the
prestigious Gardner-Denver Company, and in 1981 we became New England’s
sales and service distributor for them. The well-known Joy compressors
line was added in 1988 when Gardner-Denver acquired the Joy Division.
Our heavy machine shop compressor rebuilding operation continued to expand
and, our employee base grew.

Energy Machinery now represents more than 20 national brands of compressors,
dryers, filters, coolers, controls and motors as well as Hankison dryers
and filters. We have sales and service personnel strategically located
throughout the New England area.
